Direct Debit Payment

Recommended Posts

Posted

I bought a season ticket using direct debit around a month ago, as I didn't have the cash up front. I paid a £25 deposit along with a £6 admin fee and was told that on the last working Thursday of every month for 6 months, £25.80 would be taken from my account. If that's correct then the money should have gone out a week ago, but I checked my balance and it is still the same as before. Has anybody else had this problem? I've e-mailed the ticket office but still had no reply.

I noticed my £23.00 went out this month, I presume this was the first payment although I don't actually check my statements each month.

Mine's definitely not, slightly worrying.

If you have/receive your ticket why worry? Result in my eyes!

I've been paying mine since Feb or March when I renewed... It stings me every month as there's 6 of us but worth every penny..

Just hate their charges for direct debit, nobody else charges you direct debit......

Makes me sick when I read things like that  Legal theft.

Check if the Direct Debit Instruction has been setup. If you use Internet banking you can check this online by looking at the "Direct Debits and Standing Orders" section (or words to that effect). Alternatively ask your bank if the instruction has been setup.

Wait to see if your season ticket arrives.... Then wait a few months to allow them to sort the direct debit........... ;)
