My mates just on his R&R from Afghan, and allegedly has arranged to do a sponsored run from Ibstock/Doleville to Filbert Way in time for the Leeds game on that day. The club are aware, and are making some arrangements I believe (dunno what yet) Something about going onto the pitch at half time.

Think he will be setting up an online donation site, (justgiving or whatever its called)

Whilst you may think 13 miles will be a walk in the park for a squaddie, might I add that when I was in, and was super fit, I managed to complete the Sheffield Half marathon in 1hr 44mins, but boy was I fuked after! Plus at footy training tonight he had to stop halfway through for a fag!

There are currently two of them doing it, and they're trying to rope another in. Me...

I'm half tempted to be fair, but I'm so unfit I don't think id get past Markfield. Anyway, once I have more details I shall post them on here, so should anyone either;

A) want to participate with us/them

B) Sponsor us/them then that'd be great.

In the meantime this is just a heads up.

It certainly is. Just a shame that there's a few on here who regard it as 'doing their job'
