Cruss5 Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 I'm currently listening to the city v millwall match and i'm becoming very frustrated with the radio commentators. This isn't just because of the result and the way we are playing but i've been thinking this for a while. Are the current commentators the worst we've ever had? My Opinion is that Stringer has an arrogance about him, he comes across as he thinks he's part of the playing team and the way he talks as he's best mates with the team. He often interrupts other people and like i mentioned just has that annoying arrogance about him. As for Alan Young, the man constantly says one thing and then completely different later on during the night/afternoon. The watford game was a perfect example, at half time he said that 2-0 wasn't good enough and if we don't win by 4 then it was a bad game then at the end of the match he argued with a caller that the result is enough and how we played was irrelevant. Plus i've not heard the bloke say anything positive (i'm starting to sound like him now) and even when we do something good he likes to have a little comment about we could of done it better. It might just be me venting after a bad game. Does anybody else feel like this or is it just me being grumpy ? Would love to read your views
Trav Le Bleu Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Stringer gets stuff REALLY, REALLY, wrong (which I know from listening to RL whislt being at the match) and Youngy does contradict himself too.
lovelcfc Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 i love them when we win hate them when we lose
scottthefox Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 I listen on Foxes Player occassionally and Stringer is always a bit of a tit, Youngy is average but they both can display bias towards Leicester. This happened a few times today, I would rather have a radio commentary team that said things straight.

I'm biased towards leicester being a fan but i would like them to say it how it is. If we are bad, say it, if we are great then praise them. On a positive note, we have a better team than last year. We are doing better than last year. Progression is doing better than the previous year, promotion isn't a must this year. Its the goal but if we don't go up then we will try again next year. But knowing our luck we will walk the division one year and there will be no promotion!!
somebum Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Yeah, Ian Stringer is an immature little bellend
nuttytimmy Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Must we? After every single game? Get off their backs. It's local radio. Stringer's a fan and says it how it is. What do you want? Pierce? Mowbray? Wilson? Brotherton? Tyler? Sorry, they're too busy in the national media!
