Burmesefox Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 After the Millwall game I thought Sven sounded totally and utterly crushed. This may have been the manner of the defeat or the pressure he was under - I did think the former to be honest. However, reading the bbc atricle Vichai stated, "After the Millwall game [saturday's 3-0 home defeat] I had not decided anything yet but I had to discuss quite long with Sven about everything since last season and this season". It seems to be that Sven's disposition could have been so deflated and negative that Vichai thought "this is not a strong leader to take us where we need to be". At that point was Sven a beaten man and was it this chat that sealed his fate? bbc link.
ARM1968 Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 Probably! Nice bloke but he does not use his balls for footy, that's for sure. He appears to have little to no passion outside the bedroom.
cc_star Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 Not really, he eluded to the fact that he was surprised he wasn't sacked as he knew results hadn't been good enough for a very long time. He sounded beaten because he knew that was the final straw.
somebum Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 Sven knew all along that it was only a matter of time until the myth of Sven would elapse and people would start seeing through his PR. It was just a question of when.
Schlupp Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 Ever since our performence against Cov we knew this was going to happen.
