Wink Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 My early memories of being a foxes fan was the MON days... and what great days they were too!! got brought up thinking it was the norm finishing mid table in the prem and an adventure or two in europe!! How I was so wrong... Only to learn more about our recent history prior to the MON days and that since he left! Hence whatever happened behind any scenes, or how big his ego was/is or anything else you wish to throw in there; he will always be a legend to me! He has gone on to do a good job everywhere he has been since he left us, which only enhances his reputation... he may be too big for this club at present, he might not choose to come back incase he feels his reputation may be harmed (after all the managers weve gone through the last few years, no body is safe in their job) he might just not fancy the job!! Most of us respect that, and yet there is no official ruling himself out of the job which I find unusual... This gives me hope that he may still return!! I want this managerial position filled as much as anybody, i'm not convinced by most of the names weve been linked with (mainly because they wouldn't be my first choice) ... Yet whilst that position is still available, and he hasn't ruled himself out there is still hope!! If it wasn't for this hope, I would not be checking websites, tv, forums at every chance I got to see/hear any information for the return of the messiah!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! Let's pull this one off!! Come home Martin!!
