MC Prussian Posted 21 November 2011 Posted 21 November 2011 Following an article in my favourite newspaper, I've now been introduced to the UK Work Foundation, a brilliant organisation examining current economic issues, trying to come up with solutions (or at least suggestions) as how to resolve the mess most, if not all, Western economies currently find themselves in. Greece, Spain, Italy, Ireland and even the UK - you name it. We've all been too relying on the third sector, in particular in banking, so shouldn't we go back at re-introducing more proper labour work in order to boost the economy in more healthy ways? Because when one produces goods and one sells them, don't all sides involved profit from that - compared to financially risky and potentially hazardous virtual financial products and tools that only benefit a few? http://www.theworkfoundation.com/research/keconomy/knowledgeeconomy2keythemes.aspx

But lets not forget, these are politicians, where the easiest and most sensible solution is beyond them.
