Saxondale Posted 23 November 2011 Posted 23 November 2011 Anyone fancy correcting them - http://www.fsf.org.uk/ground-guide/clubs/leicester/ I've only looked at the Eating & Drinking it's so out of date. Leicester may not be beautiful but it has a lot going on. The central area is plagued by a maze of one-way streets and forbidden turns. Although there isn’t a ring road as such, the A594 does almost a whole circuit and most attractions flank or are contained within it.The Walkers stadium is a good 20 minutes walk from the centre of Leicester to the south west, and only a couple of miles from junction 21 of the M1, and is well signposted. I assume whoever wrote this has never been and has simply had a look on Google Maps.

FSF Posted 23 November 2011 Posted 23 November 2011 We'd welcome any updates/clarifications/corrections (although admittedly the change in the stadium name is something of an oversight as we're usually pretty good at getting info up on new grounds and changes of name). Our ground guide information is provided by volunteers and ordinary fans who let us know about their club/places they have visited - as a largely voluntary organisation we don't have the research capabilities to keep up with all the pub closures/openings and changes that towns and cities undergo, unfortunately. Trying to keep on top of 150 or so domestic teams, as well as a burgeoning European ground guide is a tricky business, and we definitely welcome any local expertise to keep our information up to date. Either leave any suggestions in the thread below, or email them to [email protected] Cheers, and good luck for the rest of the season under Nigel.
