davieG Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 I've got one of these if anyone is interested This images are not mine but it's the same. The principal behind the Total Trainer is to use your own body weight on a moving board as a resistance, so you are actually exercising directly against your own body weight By varying the angle of the glide board and incline rail , the pull ranges from light on the lower levels to very heavy on the top level, pull up cords with rubber handles Lay the other way on the board and you have a velcro strap for your feet for situps. In full working order, although there are a few minor marks., It can be stored under a bed. PM me if you're interested

It's not suitable for a business, it's designed for home/personal use where it would get limited use there's also the problem of public liability, not that I'm suggesting it's dangerous just unsuitable.
Rincewind Posted 1 April 2012 Posted 1 April 2012 Saw a couple of exercise bikes in the Heart Foundation shop on Charles Street if anyone is interested. Looked decent ones with mileage metres. One was £35 other was £50. I have no romm in my place plus don't know if the floor would take one.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 1 April 2012 Posted 1 April 2012 Used to have an exercise bike in the spare bedroom and it used to sound like it was going to to come through the ceiling if anyone was on it.
