artursteppe Posted 16 December 2011 Posted 16 December 2011 Based on? Sorry if it hurts, but based upon intelligent observation. Which for me is quite easy. You must try harder.

artursteppe Posted 16 December 2011 Posted 16 December 2011 I'm pretty sure you're blind though Great to hear from you, let's have some 'pearls' from you, just for a change. There's none so blind as those who won't see, that's you dude.

Kitchandro Posted 16 December 2011 Posted 16 December 2011 Self portrait? Clever. That reply wasn't though. Say something funny like Abe is our best midfielder again, that was a classic.
ivarti Posted 16 December 2011 Author Posted 16 December 2011 He scored a lot of goals in the J-League. Would be interesting to know how those sides played him. Foreigners signed by Leicester City has since Tommy Christensen been a disaster, here is a list, but it might lack a few names,Tommy Christensen, first foreign player in a Leicester shirt, modern times, never set the world on fire, and played just a handfull of games Jari Rantanen, never managed to convince anyone at Leicester that he was something worth, left after a short while Pontus Kamark, a bit of status at Leicester, but injuries stopped his City career, left on a free Frank Rolling, defener who made a few games and left Theo Zagorakis, never given a proper chance, left to join PAOK back in Greece Zeilko Kalac, just a game or so, later a proven goalkeeper in Serie A Steve Corica, potential but sold after a few games, played on at Wolves without impressing too much Kjetil Osvold, on loan from Nottingham Forest, not a hit in his loan spell Arnar Gunnlaugsson, flop signing from Bolton, too much injured Kasey Keller, a good signing, but left after three seasons, not satisfied to play for Leicester Jacob Laursen, a defender that played just a few games, really a flop Lilian Nalis, did ok, but too old when signed, but one to rate as maybe the best of the lot Nikos Dabizas, did ok, but too old when he came to City, never really established himself Steffen Freund, not a hit, and on the way down, retired after a few games and relegation with Leicester Sasha Lenhard, on loan and not really a good signing Pegguy Arphexad, exciting prospect and cover for Keller, not really given a chance, but must be regared as a good signing Jimmy Nielsen, didn't play a single game before leaving, not regarded as a great signing Mark de Vries, never hit it off at Leicester Yann Kermorgant, a sub and loaned back to French football, not a hit Yuki Abe, signed and still at the club, but never been able to establsh himself, not given a proper chance Collins John, great prospect, but never managed to convince anyone that he was worth a longer stay Nissa Johansson, ok, but not able to get a new contract Patrick Gerrbrand, disaster Moreno, disaster Crncik, disaster Miguel Vitor, good signing, but not able to keep him, and who brought him in, Sousa ! Lamey, disaster Bamba, looks ok, but still not a defender to be certain will deliver game in and game out, a risk Berner, did ok in League 1 and first season in the Championship, a good signing Gelson Fernandez, not really been thrilled by him yet Solano, ok but hardly one that had a great future at the club Kasper Scmeichel, looks like a good signing that could have a bright future at the club, but he has lived all his life in England, but ok a good signing John Pantsil, still not convinced Tomi Petrescu, could have had a future at Leicester, but released after just on game Jeff Schlupp, German U.19, still not a first team regular Bora and Lachzko, disaster Hellings, disaster Priet, disaster Roberto Mancini, looked good, but left the hotell after just a few weeks, not satisfactory and too old to keep for a long period Lars Hirschfeld,. Canadian goalkeeper, one game Iain Hume, not really a foreigner, but represented Canada, not really a player that could lift the club Patrick Kisnorbo, not able to lift the team, but played ok when he was at the club Kaebi, disaster The list is long of flops and hardly one player that managed to establish themselves in the first team, only Lilian Nalis must be regarded as a regular for a short period. Kisnorbo was ok, but when City started to climb, he was off to another club. Not forgetting goalkeepers Keller and Scmeichel, both great. Might have missed some, Izzet is not regarded as an import, despite playing for Turkey
acooling08 Posted 16 December 2011 Posted 16 December 2011 Theo, Muzzy, Lennon, Izzet, King, Wellens, Gally, Fernandes, Dyer > Abe

Swalker Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 Yuki is underrated big time. Him and Gelson are the best 2 midfielders in this club no doubt

eaststandtom Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 i feel yuki is a good player. we were at our best last season with him, wellens and king as a 3. king and wellens are better with him. he is certainly worthy of a chance given our midfields recent form. he himself has shown inconsistency though. i would like to see him play still
