Silver George Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 Hello everyone, you may be interested to know that Silver Comedy is introducing a new nationwide stand up competition at this year's Dave's Leicester Comedy Festival called "Die Laughing". Entry is free and anyone can enter who is aged 55+ - in fact the older the better - there's no upper age limit! So if you're a miserable old git why not give it a try? The heats and the finals are on 17th February at Embrace Arts in Lancaster Road. We want to encourage new acts to have a go, therefore even if you have no experience but you think that you can make people laugh, why not give it a try. We are offering an optional comedy training day at Embrace Arts on 10th February. If you want to find out more details you can email me at: [email protected] Silver Comedy is a social enterprise that undertakes a variety of comedy related activities for older people - to find out more about us on our website here is the link : www.silvercomedy.co.uk

accessory Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 You should ask them on Bentley's http://www.fansonlin...w.php?id=464707 Yeah i'm sure they'd be happy to dig out Bernard Manning's old joke book. Don't think they'd win too much support though.
