'm going on a sort of holiday tomorrow. My sister's 50th on the 15th and been asked to the Lake district. Probably got some sort of do arranged by the rest of the family. Suppose I should get a prezzy but will have to wait till I get there now. Forgot the card and too late to get one. I have a board game she can have as a pre birthday prezzy. Mid Life Crisis.

You literally sound like Jim Royal.

You forgot a card on your sister's 50th! Jesus man come on that's bad! Ah **** I still have an old game of scrabble from the BHF shop so I'll take that for her.............dear oh dear! I hope a better attitude is delivered in your job search man. Not having a go but come on!

Anyone know much about Jet2 holidays?

Looking at booking a summer holiday 2 weeks in Cyprus, and I've found really good deals with jet2. I've never used them before so don't know how reliable they are or the chances of them going bust. Any advice would be welcome.

Jet2 are great, really are going strong and I know no end of people that love them now. The airline side is good, the aircraft are mostly getting on, so tech problems are more common but the interiors are fresh and comfortable.

They're expanding all the time and are probably one of the most secure airlines and I'm sure the package holiday side is the same. Thomas Cook are best avoided at the moment, having a lot of problems with co tracts as they've upset a fair few hotels across Europe who are as a result stopping Thomas Cook from having guests there.

I wouldn't say Jet2 will become the new easyjet, more comparable to Monarch at the moment, although their employees aren't treated as well as Monarch's. They will probably bridge the gap between Thomson and easyjet although the fact they are to open a base at Alicante could suggest they are going down the easyjet route.
