chili_con_carne Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 Todays game will be our 6th live game on tv so far this season which is one more than Wigan who are in the premier league. Okay I know we have a bigger fan base than Wigan but seems ridiculous how they get vastly more tv money than us when we have been on tv more times!
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 You do realise that EPL gets broadcasted around the world and not just in England. Australia gets every (that's not a misprint) EPL game live, compare that to the Championship we get about 2-3 games broadcasted live a month. Hence why Wigan get more money.
Dan Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 Our amount of moved games is plain silly to be fair. We've had 14 moved already and that's only fixtures up until the end of February.
Ziggy1990 Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 loving it 2bh.... living in Suffolk and working shocking hours means i cant travel particually far. Paying all that dollar for Sky + ESPN has come good thus far. il even take the odd game on bbc if its there (despite the coverage itself being nothing short of a disgrace). Mark Bright *sigh
Jace Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 Fine by me the more Leicester matches and less Wigan matches the better?
Captain... Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 It's the same for Man United, they get the same sky money as Wigan and are on TV a lot more, I'm not sure about international broadcasts, I remember reading something recently about the bigger clubs wanting more money for international braodcasts, because they are shown more, but there is no increased disruption to their schedule, all premiership matches are set-up to be braodcast live, it just depends if they are picked up by any broadcaster. I am sure the owners aren't upset by the increased exposure of Leicester.
jonlcfc1990 Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 Southampton was one of the away games i'd picked out at the start of the season and it got changed Blackpool i've done twice and now it's a tuesday this year and Derby a thursday not to mention Watford on Valentines day! thats 4 away games taken away from people who work 9 to 5 every week and i thought we were the people that football was our sport? Our pastime? The trouble is the money Soton and Leicester will lose in the poor attendances must be easily made up by the money to show it on sky. Pathetic i hate not seeing Leicester play especially away
MrFox781 Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 The only thing pisses me off with tv broadcasting is they keep moving saturday games on nights such as thursday and monday. if southampton was on saturday 5 20 kick off more fans (including me) would travel down. the fact its on a monday night just takes the piss. also moving derby on a thursday is just a facking joke another away day ruined. thanks sky.twats.
