ScouseFox Posted 28 January 2012 Posted 28 January 2012 My sister's 14 and plays for Liverpool. She has a "contract", but doesn't get paid obviously, and isn't insured by anyone. But it was "frowned upon" when she went on a skiing holiday because there was a risk of injury, and Liverpool wouldn't have been too pleased. So basing it on that, if a professional, being paid by the club got needlessly injured I'd assume they'd be pretty annoyed.
