Collymore Posted 1 July 2005 Posted 1 July 2005 well how best left sided player has left and we are now left with jason wilcox, tiatto and kisnorbo. how shit is that not happy 130817 Could be worse, we could have Jordan Stewart
Vo Rogue Posted 1 July 2005 Posted 1 July 2005 I'd have energetic Levi Porter or Wesolowski on the left ahead of rubbish Stewart anyday.
dog_4 Posted 1 July 2005 Author Posted 1 July 2005 i seen porter and the other guesser both looked shit. stewart was the only pacey skillful left sided player we had. he will play in the centre of midfield or on the left of midfield for watford and i can garentee he will be one of the best players in the division
Vo Rogue Posted 1 July 2005 Posted 1 July 2005 Stewart is the only player who could trip over the ball when dribbling. He didnt need an opposition to put him off. And his absolute game sense, giving Preston a penalty in extra time last year to level and go on and beat us. Got the football i.q. of a peanut. Best move to get rid of him.
Raspeir Posted 2 July 2005 Posted 2 July 2005 What's wrong with Sheehan?  130862 Nothing... in fact i'd probbaly go as far as to say that the emergance of Sheehan has probably given Levein the confidence to let Stewart go... I'm not sure as to his feelings towards Weslowowski but i believe he's a left sided player and so will offer further depth. He has Tiatto and Wilcox who can both play there but knows he also has the added back up of emerging youth in that specific position. On the note of youth, I wouldnt be suprised to see either James Graham or Chris O'Grady play a more prominent role within the first team squad this year, Levein seems eager to encourage the influx of youth into the side, and with Tommy Wright seemingly surplus to requirements i'd say that it will probably be between these two lads to battle for his role as the club's 'emerging young striker' (previously held by the likes of Dudfield, Wright, Heskey and Joachim)
BartonFox Posted 2 July 2005 Posted 2 July 2005 Laugh all you like, but Lee Morris will also be in contention for a place on the left hand side. The fact he has started the first day of pre season and no reports of him breaking down must be a first. Left backs - Sheehan, Tiatto, Maybury & Kisnorbo (at a push) Left wing - Tiatto, Wilcox, Morris
