davieG Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 Having had a look at the Portsmouth/Rangers topics and now the Pearson loan topic what a bunch of ghouls some of our fans are. Is this what 'loads of money' does?
Guest Bilo Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 Hard nosed business rather than ghoulishness for me Davie. A Rangers player becomes redundant who could do a job in the Championship, we sign him with no transfer fee and he doesn't spend X amount of time out of the game.

Maybe but couldn't we wait until they're actually buried? Surely as footy fans we should be hoping that they survive rather than hoping, for our own benefit that they go under.
Guest Bilo Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 Pompey thread is bloody depressing reading though chaps. Sort it out, we can hardly complain about Pompey fans having a laugh at our expense while we were in admin and then keep our fingers crossed for them going down.

Surely as footy fans we should be hoping that they survive rather than hoping, for our own benefit that they go under. I was thinking more along the lines of the Rangers thread. I don't want a club to go under but if we can take a player who could do a job for us off their hands for nothing then that's just business, nothing personal. I agree that anyone hoping for Portsmouth to go bust needs to have a look at themselves though.
Mack Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 That's just life these days isn't it? I find people are only out for themselves, and couldn't give two flying F's for anyone or anything else.

Guest Col city fan Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 That's just life these days isn't it? I find people are only out for themselves, and couldn't give two flying F's for anyone or anything else. I agree..... But this won't change. I think I've only ever seen it get worse to be honest. What people also do is try to shoot down those who 'have', whether out of envy or something. This is why the media have been on our backs all season IMO. We are now seen as rich and as a 'big player' in the Championship. Because we have not achieved what we 'should' have achieved in most peoples eyes, this season, we have become subjects of ridicule. I have no doubt however, that this won't change.
Voll Blau Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 We'll go the same way when the Thais get bored with us.
wellyfox Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 It took 2 threads on clubs possibly going bust for you to see the dire attitude of some of our fans. I was saying it most of the summer n kept being told it was a forum. (Oh and to man up and shut the fvck up) We have some of the worst up there own arse fans going made worse by Thai money. We was gonna piss this league all we had to do was turn up Oh how the mighty fall and how much piss take we gonna get the minute the play off fight is lost.

flowwolf Posted 4 March 2012 Posted 4 March 2012 I have just read this post and had to pinch myself to make sure it is real. We are talking about football aren't we ? Good grief it's not a children's hospital under threat or people being thrown out of a hospice to die on the streets. So a club goes under, no ones dead none of the players are going to be poverty stricken. And life as we know it will not end in a doomsday scenario. Get a grip.
