More Help Needed re FireFox

Does anyone else have problems downloading software, images, video snips etc when in firefox.

When downloading there's no physical representation that it's happen, is this a setting within firefox?

Any help appreciated.

Go to Tools then Downloads

if the downloads window still doesn't come up, you're probably running a pop-up blocker of some kind (might be incorporated in the adware stuff you downloaded the other day) It will need to be turned off or just disabled while u view the new window. I use pop-up stopper and to view downloads on firefox i can't have it running.
