Why does one of the team generally wear a different coloured shirt, are they the Captain?

Thanks for that I think I understand what you're saying so the player in the different coloured shirt is not going to be one of the better players or maybe lacks fitness/stamina as they're likely to be subbed the most. Or perhaps they have s specialist skill.

Not exactly, the Libero is a defensive specialist so they have a specifc role to do, its also worth noting that they are not allowed to attack and score points.

So I was right in one thing they have a specialist skill.

Anyway thanks for the explanation, I have played the game locally at an evening fitness class but obviously we didn't have the quality or set up to have this although I did tend to get subbed a lot.
