lol what a load of rubbish!

Although the other week a young kid (17/18) came to collect his money for cleaning my windows. It costs £6.50 in total and I gave him a £10 note, but he gave me £4.50 in change! :P

That's because most of the stuff you learn isn't useful in every day life. I'm learning stuff only so i can pass exams. It's stupid.

we have been spending the past 3 weeks studying algebra apparently a vital part of todays life. does anyone use algebra in everyday life because i dont see anyone using it? what a waste of time

algebra is awesome

But what purpose does it serve in every day life?

a maths a level nowadays is piss easy

137739[/snapback]

I disagree with you. I got a B at GCSE and was told that i should do maths A Level. So i did, but i struggled completely. I got a U but in some ways i also blame the teacher. he focussed on a couple of students that he knew would get and A. So me and my mate were at the back of the room struggling.

But at the end of the day, i guess im just not clever enough. It might be piss easy for you but it isnt piss easy for the majority!
