I'm learning stuff only so i can pass exams. It's stupid.

john_lcfc Posted 14 July 2005 Posted 14 July 2005 we have been spending the past 3 weeks studying algebra apparently a vital part of todays life. does anyone use algebra in everyday life because i dont see anyone using it? what a waste of time
kerryh Posted 14 July 2005 Posted 14 July 2005 algebra is awesome 137744 But what purpose does it serve in every day life? I am the girl who get's confused working out 1/2 x 1/2 though!
Hitesh Posted 14 July 2005 Posted 14 July 2005 a maths a level nowadays is piss easy 137739 I disagree with you. I got a B at GCSE and was told that i should do maths A Level. So i did, but i struggled completely. I got a U but in some ways i also blame the teacher. he focussed on a couple of students that he knew would get and A. So me and my mate were at the back of the room struggling. But at the end of the day, i guess im just not clever enough. It might be piss easy for you but it isnt piss easy for the majority!
