PS3 Controller

lately my PS3 controller has stopped connecting to my PS3 unless it is connected to it, via the USB cable that i use to charge it, it should be fully charge as i left it on the other day for a few hours to charge and everytime i disconnect it from the charger, the 4 lights on the top just flash.

anyone got any ideas on how to fix it, or what to do???

I have trouble with those cables... It says 'needs charging', so I insert the cable and then straight away it says something along the lines of 'cannot charge any more of the device'.

Keep it on charge for a while without using it and try it again. Sometimes mine wont connect and its because they dont have enough charge. The internal battery might have broke though. They are fairly easy to take apart, ive fixed a couple before.
