NewquayFox Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 The winner of todays Suarez V Evra handshake will go on to meet Anton Ferdinand in next weeks final..... ;0)
blueblood88 Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 Pre match handshakes are complete bollocks
AyewJoking Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 No, what is bollócks is so called pofessionals who act like children.
Matt Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 To much of a farce, media build up, pointless, side show, get rid of them!
FoxesAreBlue Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 The whole line up and shake hands is purely so they can sell sponsorship to people to have their photos with the teams and promote Barclays with those shitty signs they put up. The lower leagues just have to follow suit under a false banner of respect. Forcing played to shake hand before a game is like forcing two fighting toddlers to apologise to each other, do they mean it? Do they bollocks, it's just to keep the higher powers (be it the adult giving the telling-off or the FA) happy. Players should shake hands at the end of a game if there is a mutual respect and refuse to if there isn't - I know that if I played against a player who made played a rough but fair game, I would order to or accept an offer to shake hands. pricks who kicked seven shades of shit out of me or committed off the ball fouls (such as stamps, pushes and elbows/fists to the face as happened a couple of times) when the ref isn't looking can kiss my rusty brown ring hole for all I care - the respect has been lost and forcing a handshake won't bring it back. That said, given the rules as they are, fair play to Evra and Suarez today though - at least it gave the papers one less talking point
