Uncle Phil Posted 29 January 2013 Share Posted 29 January 2013 http://www.ultimate-..._new_album.html It's a bit interesting that there is two line ups touring and it lists Greg Ginn and Dale Nixon in the same line up. I do wonder what the new record will be like though, hope it's not crap.
Jay Posted 30 January 2013 Share Posted 30 January 2013 I'm not convinced by either to be honest Greg Ginn may have been Black Flag and played a massive part in 80's Hardcore but Ron Reyes was only in them for about 3months. Just read some comments by Keith Morris on reforming Black Flag about this and sums it up pretty much to me: " Morris told the Village Voice in 2012. "[but] I got gouged by the bull. It got really ugly … All of a sudden, I started to see the headtrip, the skullduggery, the BS starting to rise up … I realised this is pretty much the same reason why I left [black Flag] in the first place." The Flag version sounds the better option to me but Black Flag without Rollins to me just isn't Black Flag and he ain't never gonna reunite
