Deucalion Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 http://psychcentral.com/ Take 100% guaranteed diagnostic tests here. Who needs medical professionals?
BoneDog Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 I will take the test when I get back from a pint and KFC after dinner. Could be interesting. Not a fan of 64% of modern psychologists though. They don't know their arse from their elbow. No offence to the 36% who are stable. Edit : That said, I only know about 8 - 10 psychologists.
Charl91 Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Mentalism is a performing art in which its practitioners, known as mentalists, appear to demonstrate highly developed mental or intuitive abilities. Performances may appear to include telepathy, clairvoyance, divination, precognition, psychokinesis, mediumship, mind control, memory feats and rapid mathematics. Hypnosis may also be used as a stage tool. Mentalists are sometimes referred to as psychic entertainers. So no, I'm not!
Deucalion Posted 2 February 2013 Author Posted 2 February 2013 So no, I'm not! I didn't actually know what a mentalist was, so thanks for the definition. The name of this thread was actually a copy of the earlier thread, 'Are you a Humanist', basically because after I read that thread it reminded me of these mental health diagnostic tests I had been looking at a few weeks ago. So no offence intended to mentalists and their abnormal mental abilities, and likewise no offence intended to the mentally ill by using the wrong name to describe them. I'll be more careful what I call things in future.
Rincewind Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 There is a TV series called the Mentalist. When I looked at the link there was a list of tests including schizophrenia which I do not suffer from but my other self says I do.
BoneDog Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Personality test results. Average, but I only answered one question with 'strongly agree' or 'strongly disagree'.
