Boxing wise anything that involves James Jeffries (expect the JJ defeat) John L. Sullivan or Jake La Motta. I absolute love reading about the old fights, sends the imagination wild. Think it was Cahrley Mitchell who Sullivan was losing to in the 55th round, being sick in the corner he finally got a second wind and came back to regain his World Title in the 71st round. I read a couple of good books many years ago about the old fights . Very interesting . They weren't in-depth stuff , but just a good oversight with loads of pics . Did you know Wyatt Earp was a referee in many old fights and took his gun in the ring with him ?
