Deleting from My Media

Due to the fact I like pissing around in GIMP (free photoshop) I have uploaded a number of really cool images such as:

But now I have run out of room and I can't upload any more.

How can I delete what I have already uploaded, to allow me space to upload more.

Thank you, by the way, what does the number of downloads mean on the attachments? Is it the number of times I have used them, or the number of times someone has saved the file to their computer?

Think it's how many clicked the thumbnail and loaded the full version, not sure though.
