Father Ted Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Schlupp again for me, pivotal in making sure the ball didnt keep coming back and unlucky not to score.
Guest ttfn Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 King, just. But you could make a case for Morgan, Schlupp or James, they were all very good.
Wilfshaw Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Drinks was everywhere, Schlupp disappointed up top and missed the one on one; shouldn't have changed 2 subs after scoring as we missed Nugent's experience which is where their goal came from on the left giving the ball away - he would have kept it. Fans were brilliant, I sat next to you all in the East Stand as I live down here and could only get tickets there - never stopped singing, a credit!
cjslcfc Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 James for me. Played solidly in a defensive role and made things happen going forward as well. Deserved his goal. Only wish we would play with 3 in midfield more often
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 7 April 2013 Posted 7 April 2013 King although maybe he should have scored. Chased every ball at one point
bluesbrothers Posted 7 April 2013 Posted 7 April 2013 Kingy had a good game, unlucky not to score a few times and much more visible in his advanced role. Pearson needs to start him and James as the first choice central midfield for the rest of the season, Drinkwater's defensive frailties cause King to sit back and he ends up absent. Still IMO the midfielder I trust most to put away chances.
davieG Posted 12 April 2013 Author Posted 12 April 2013 MOM James 10 King / Schlupp 5 each Kasper, Morgan, Konch, Drinky 1
