Finnegan Posted 9 July 2013 Author Posted 9 July 2013 How is he considered in Australia these days? Had some ups and downs over the last five or so years.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 9 July 2013 Posted 9 July 2013 In Melbourne no one knows who he is, so not sure on the public perception. But i think people wanted the change and especially for Mckenzie who has done well at the Reds.
Finnegan Posted 9 July 2013 Author Posted 9 July 2013 is Union seriously that much of a minority sport in Melbourne?
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 10 July 2013 Posted 10 July 2013 is Union seriously that much of a minority sport in Melbourne? AFL dominates everything here mate, out of an 18 team comp 10 are from Melbourne and until 2 years ago it was 10 out of 16.
Guest MattP Posted 10 July 2013 Posted 10 July 2013 is Union seriously that much of a minority sport in Melbourne? Yep when I was in Melbourne in March I couldn't even find a place to Wales/England (thankfully in the end) Cricket and AFL, AFL is as big a sport I've ever seen in one area, everyone there has a team, total outcast if you don't follow it.
