Knights of the Old Republic

One of my favourite games of all time and it's just been ported to the iPad. Cost me about £7 I think, but it's absolutely brilliant.

 

Anyone else had a look at this? Certainly the best Star Wars video game ever IMO.

Dunno about best, but certainly one of. Great story and allows quite a degree of path choice, so you can play it through more than once.

For me X-Wing Alliance is the best - but it's a completely different style (space sim) and very dated now. I also really liked the Dark Forces/Jedi Academy games. There used to be a time when any Lucas Arts game was highly anticipated, difficult to believe now I know.

 My brother's playing on X-Wing Alliance as I type! About a month ago he bought himself a cheap gaming computer to play a load of old games on.

X-Wing Alliance was after Tie Fighter, the last of the Star Wars space games to have a sim feel to it.

Yep, amazing game. I remember when i was younger I just played on a rotation of Rogue Squadron, Age of Empires (Kings), Need for Speed 2:SE and Superbike World Championship.
