From a content point of view I completely agree, from a stylistic point of view, it starts off as trying to be a serious and objective piece and you state you want to talk through both sides of the argument, but when discussing the arguments against you are dismissive and make cheap jokes or glib comments.

 

The problem is the arguments against are so difficult consider rationally and actually make an objective comment on that it is hard not to mock.
