You know what I mean, a change as big as something like the way we vote quite simply has to go to a referendum. It's a shame we don't do more of it though, should be easy as anything now with the internet.

I don't trust the public though. We'd probably end up with rage against the machine as our new national anthem.

The only reason parliament and so called democratic process exists is to push through unpopular policies and to convince the gullible public that we've asked for ( nay demanded)  it.

 

It's far far easier than dictatorship .
