So Women and Men really are different - Maybe.

I'd feel I really should make an insightful, pro-feminist comment in response to this but I'm genuinely too busy painting my nails. >_<

Be a girly girl, most of us men like it  :P

Aren't some boys being forced to do football and cricket when they'd prefer not to. I was not only forced to play rugby, our school did indulge in football but I was always forced to be the hooker. Long distance running was also compulsory.

I was forced to do Cross Country, I didn't want to but I was made to if I wanted to play Football, Cricket and Rugby, looking back it was the best for me though so I think the right decision was made in forcing me into it, did my fitness no end of good and undoubtedly gave me extra when competing in those other sports.

Quite shocking to think nowadays I'd be able to refuse to do it despite clearly not knowing what was best for me at the time and that because of it I'd be poorer across the board at the sports I did.

I suppose this goes back again to being content with seeing declining standards in favour of being nice to people instead of a bit of tough love to toughen us up.

Maybe this is why we are excelling at Cricket, Rugby and not at football and our Olympic gold medals are mostly coming from athletes from privately educated schools where the tough love attitude is still likely to be used.

We used to run the 400metres and whoever was last got slapped by everybody back in the changing rooms.

A lot of the time the class let one of the fat kids lead and let him think about getting away with it and then everyone would overtake him in the straight. Kids are cruel.

I bet you could have won as well but chose to come last to make the little guy feel better.

You don't know it Ken but you're a hero, a real man of the people.
