RobHawk Posted 12 March 2014 Posted 12 March 2014 Anyone see it? Awful awful programme! As ever if the people in the show took proper debt advice, they would be so much better off. One guy was paying £20 a week to his energy provider just off his arrears. By the time he heated his house he had about £4 left for a weeks food! Go to a debt advisor and that £20 a week could be easily reduced to something he could afford!
Jon the Hat Posted 12 March 2014 Posted 12 March 2014 Interesting show I thought. Proves the point that the level of benefits is not actually the issue day to day. The issue is not being able to build a buffer for when things go wrong, taking on unaffordable debt and spiralling downwards.
