Bayfox Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 I enjoyed our l1 season and even the cardiff play-off year was fun. Last year was up until about posh away. But the rest of adams losing the plot, kelly, cl, hollowhead was largely forget able bar a few moments of magic, joey v hull etc. But doesn't it make what's happening now all the sweeter? I can't wait to see that p followed by a c next to our names having never seen us win the 2nd tier. I'll take a 3rd and 2nd tier trophy to go with those play-offs and league cups. I reckon I've had it pretty good overall as a city fan. It's just the last decade has been filled with a lot of dross. Now to dream of an fa cup to go with it and a venture into Europe and then I can die relatively happy. Cuz that top flight trophy is just never gonna happen for us. But I can accept that.
Kitchandro Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Almost forgot about Forest last season! I wasn't even there and it was one of the best moments of my football supporting career. Scenes in my house. Also the 3-0 promotion clash in 09/10, what a game. Thrashing Derby every year too, has got to be up there. As much as things got better after the relegation season, I actually hated 11/12. I really disliked some of our players and the atmosphere hit rock bottom at our ground. The opening day win at Cov (with 6,500 fans heading back down the sun kissed motorway thinking it was the start of a great season where we went up and they went down) and the Norwich cup victory (when reality had set in and we realised we were actually a bit crap and a cup run was all we had left) were rare highlights.
