Libertine Posted 22 August 2004 Author Posted 22 August 2004 Well, I won't be gooin thar! I have a season ticket in B1...won it off East Midlands Today! (TV Programme)
Libertine Posted 22 August 2004 Author Posted 22 August 2004 Answering the easiest question ever... Who knocked England out of Euro 2004? , I'm just hoping it proves to be worth it.
Guest freund Posted 22 August 2004 Posted 22 August 2004 oh right, I'll have the other one if you want
Libertine Posted 22 August 2004 Author Posted 22 August 2004 , nah it's fine, I have company for matches. ::
kerryh Posted 23 August 2004 Posted 23 August 2004 You can move your season ticket! Not sure many of us here sit in the West Stand.
Mad Dog Posted 23 August 2004 Posted 23 August 2004 L1 is alright aslong as you sit behind about row CC. It's strange that CC is the cutoff point for singing in L1 and F1, in both sections only about 5 people in front of that row sing. It's also where the standing in L1 stops. Shame really it'd be much better if everyone stood & sang, never mind. It's a bit embarrasing when 'stand up if u love leicester' starts and only the back half of the section stand (and were standing anyway before the song started)

shelly Posted 23 August 2004 Posted 23 August 2004 My Grandad sits in B1!! I sit with my dad and uncle in K,next to L1
mad biker Posted 23 August 2004 Posted 23 August 2004 L1 is clearly the way forwards. 14261[/snapback] You reckon !! L1 a, well to me the L stands for library "can you hear the L1 sing, I can`t hear a fcuking thing !!
shelly Posted 23 August 2004 Posted 23 August 2004 I can hear L1 a lot more than I can heat the Kop!! Isn't it something to do with the acoustics of the ground and how it was designed to push the sound towardsthe pitch instead of keeping it in the stands?? I'm sure i read that somewhere.
Muz Posted 23 August 2004 Posted 23 August 2004 all i see of l1 is a load of people standing up thats it i hear no singing!
shelly Posted 23 August 2004 Posted 23 August 2004 They do sing! I think they should swap the Kop with the Family Stand. Problem solved then!
Cobbo Posted 23 August 2004 Posted 23 August 2004 L1 does make quite a lot of noise....I'm sure the kop do too, but we can't hear the kop at all from L1. It is indeed the acoustics apparently pushing the sound onto the pitch so it doesn't travel around the ground too well.

Then you called the ref something like a 'silly sausage' didn't seem quite right. I on the other hand shout my head off and piss off everyone around me. Hurrah.

Guest freund Posted 23 August 2004 Posted 23 August 2004 L1 in my experience is great (although I've never been to the kop), and I used to sit in row E and I did sing
