I was watching a programme on BBC 4 last night about "BritPop" and it made me realise how samey and boring music is today. I wish I was 16 back when Blur and Oasis were fighting it out, those really were the days. I've just dowloaded all Oasis' and Blur's and Pulp's old classics just for a bit of nostalgia :rolleyes::cry:

Bring back the good old days of great Indie!

to be fair i feel the same about the summer of love in '89 but when you look back through programmes like that one they tend to ignore the utter dross that was around, such as echobelly, sleeper, menswear etc and not to mention some of the crappy dance that was around like reel-2-real, haddaway, jam and spoon, captain hollywood etc
