WHEN WILL CONTRACTS BE SORTED?

Recommended Posts

This team romped to the championship title others sides that gained over 100 points have done well in the prem the following season Newcastle 12th, Reading 8th and Fulham 13th with a couple of additions I see no reason why we cannot finish somewhere between 11th-14th

But he didn't say with new additions, he said if everyone signed a new contract we'd be good enough to finish in the top half.

Which we wouldn't be.

But you failed to notice that 11-14th isn't a top half finish?

I actually think if everyone signed there new contracts we have a good enough squad already to finish in the top half of the premiership

I don't

It's starting to worry me that no-one has signed, or at least it's not been announced. Any news or anything? I realise I'm being an impatient little knob.

HOPEFULLY SOON!!!!!

You've got to bear in mind the whole thing is a bit of a game that can take time...........Imagine if you were Nugent for example, you wouldn't just go and sign the first contract you're offered! you (his agent in cases of offers from English clubs as he can't yet legally talk to English clubs) have to collect together all your ammo as such and go into battle to get the best possible deal for you, your family and your future. You've got to remember there are so many factors in a contract, it's not just the basic wage! And the most important thing to remember is that it is just a contract for a short amount of time, by which I mean it has to be right for your future.............It's not as if career progression will see him in a better position financially in 10 years time!
