broughtonblue Posted 27 June 2014 Share Posted 27 June 2014 So reading the stoke thread and people wanting/offering tickets, I'm curious as to what would happen if the person who 'borrowed' the ref no. Or points was involved in trouble at the match, whether intentional or innocently caught up in it but gets collared anyway by over zealous stewards/police? Is there a chance the innocent season ticket holder could find himself banned as the ticket would have been bought in his name?
AndWhat? Posted 27 June 2014 Share Posted 27 June 2014 Don't think they could track the ticket stub back to the season ticket.
broughtonblue Posted 27 June 2014 Author Share Posted 27 June 2014 Is it possible they could view the incident on CCTV and match the seat no to that ticket purchased?
Fox92 Posted 27 June 2014 Share Posted 27 June 2014 I don't know why there should be a problem anyway. What is the difference between lending someone your reference number and buying a ticket for yourself, realising you cannot attend, so you have sell it on to get some of your money back? AndWhat? Posted 27 June 2014 Share Posted 27 June 2014 Is it possible they could view the incident on CCTV and match the seat no to that ticket purchased? Don't think that would ever hold up as any evidence or such. I haven't sat in my allocated away seat for a good few seasons now and I can't be the only one that just piles in an aisle with all my mates when we have bought tickets separately.
