Kingpower corporate branding vs Leicester's traditional colours?

No problem with gold whatsoever. We've had variations of gold/yellow since forever. Not even sure it's the owners choosing it either. I don't think gold as a colour has any significance in Thailand. Yellow maybe as a royal colour but then it would be a clear yellow, not gold. King Power's latest branding has a subtle gold flash but before that there doesn't seem to have been any gold involved. Could just as easily be king power adding gold to their branding to align it with the traditions of Leicester City. Probably not, but you never know. Either way I can't see how using a colour we've used numerous times in the past can be seen as intrusive. There is even gold in the foxestalk logo and I doubt the owners had a say in that. Seems like in spite of everything some people still can't wait for any opportunity to do a bit of owner bashing.

As long as the shorts aren't gold, I'm not fussed. I also think the gold doesn't look that bad. People are being major drama queens over this, acting like it's the start of a plot to change everything about the club.

I am truly not bothered..

Aslong as our kit is mainly blue i ain't got a problem with abit of gold
