We made 11 changes from the arsenal, chelsea and Everton games......still looking really strong.

 

 

It is just a case of us having strength in-depth and real quality.

 

Especially considering there is barely 90 minutes between that whole starting 11 this season.

 

I was going to say, the team you had out tonight would do very well in the Championship. The team we put out would probably finish mid table in the Conference

Not quite. Only the unfit Samir Carruthers played in both games.

 

Our team tonight was made up mostly of players 18 and under with a few fringe players chucked in for good measure.

 

Strangely, I thought your team tonight looked better than the team you put out for the friendly in the summer, but maybe that was more our teams lack of experience shining through and you possessing the ultimate weapon in Cambiasso.

 

Either way, you are officially better than Manchester United.

He was alright, one of those 'did the simple things right' type of performances. Solid, unspectacular but grabbed a goal with a neat finish.

 

Drinkwater was the standout for me but the context of it all really makes it meaningless.

Looking at the pics some of those franchise players look about 13, proud of our team to go and be professional though.
