kerryh Posted 25 August 2005 Posted 25 August 2005 In my naive youth I used to march against vivisection. I then grew up, saw family, who with thanks to animal testing were able to take drugs to cure them of illness and prolong life. I disagree with testing vanity products on animals but drugs and ways of prolonging life need to be tested. I got married in the church that Gladys Hammond was buried - not a good omen!!!

Thracian Posted 26 August 2005 Author Posted 26 August 2005 In my naive youth I used to march against vivisection. I'm pretty anti-make-up anyway. Accident victims or those with pronounced birthmarks may gain some confidence through disguising their marks but, generally, I can't see what's wrong with people as they really are instead of being daubed in warpaint. Don't believe my wife has used make-up more than a dozen times in her life yet still's still extremely young looking, still pretty for her age and her skin is outstanding.
