EnglishOxide Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Form is temporary, class is permanent. You can't tell me that these players who managed good performances and results against Arsenal, Man Utd, Everton and Chelsea aren't good enough. Be patient. Things will come good again.
Guest MattP Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 I get the feeling the 'Is he a Premier League manager?' question is something that is going to pop up a lot this season, the question of course is a complete nonsense as the conclusion people would come to could be based on things largely out of his hands anyway and different factors at different clubs would yield different results and therefore different conclusions. Harry Redknapp and Steve Bruce - are they Premier League managers? Both have kept teams up and sent them down. Who decided on them If the owners decided to splurge 200 million on 5 players in Jan we'd probably stay up, would that then make him a Premier League manager? If you really want an answer to the question of whether he is a Premier League manager 5 years rather than 5 months would be an adequate timescale to form some sort of appraisal of him. I think I speak for a lot of Leicester City fans when I say the way some people see things in such clear black and white over the shortest time periods is astounding to our supporters with patience and common sense.
