Hitesh Posted 27 August 2005 Posted 27 August 2005 So i had my last day at my job today. It was my first ever proper (legal) job and after two years i had my last day today! I have worked at Argos (bedford interchange!) for two years but because i am moving to Birmingham, i have left. i have asked for a transfer but i dont think they have any vacancies in B'ham. When i started it was all ok, and the managers were all good. But last year they had a change of management and the place went downhill. Professionalism went out the window and all the workers couldnt be bothered. But i have got into Uni now so i have had to leave! Its a strange time for me at the moment becuase it feels like im leaving everything behind! All my friends are moving on, finishing at both jobs i have, and i am going into something which is going to be a whole new experience! I am looking forward to it and cant wait to go there but i am also a bit sad because im leaving it all behind. But i guess all good things come to an end one day, and i guess it is the case for me now!
Anish Posted 27 August 2005 Posted 27 August 2005 My last day at work will be on Wednesday - I can't wait! I've been working there full time since November and it will be strange not working there anymore, but I'm not complaining. No more waking up at 6.00am for a while!
Parsons Posted 27 August 2005 Posted 27 August 2005 good luck to you and all others going to uni. i decided not to go uni when i first started A-levels, because i knew i wouldnt be able to get high grades. but with 2 Ds and an E i am actually very happy. I proberly would of done better than that as well if it wasnt for 1 or 2 completly C**P teachers. looks like its time to find a full-time job for me
rossporterlc Posted 27 August 2005 Posted 27 August 2005 bet you wish you were watching cricket instead

Katy Posted 28 August 2005 Posted 28 August 2005 As one door closes another one opens and all that jazz, the sadness will fade fairly quickly especially when the adrenaline kicks in when you go to Uni and then what has passed will feel strange. You will be fine, Carpe Diem!
Hitesh Posted 28 August 2005 Author Posted 28 August 2005 Your right Katassi! In fact, i didnt really feel that sad in the evening. Of course, i was pissed off bout City, but my mates came round and we drank loads of beer, played ps2, watched some movies (Die Hard!!!) and had a wicked time!
