roblcfc84 Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 A few weeks ago I started a thread to say I didn't think NP was up to the job. I stand by a lot of my comments but I feel differently today. Frustration got the better of me then. Mistakes have been made, no doubt. But I now think...let's see this through! By that I mean long term. IF we go down for the long term good of the club then I can get on board. If the owners, manager and players learn and come back stronger then I'm in. But for some reason and I can't explain it I've just got this feeling we are going to stay up. I've seen little in recent weeks the back up this feeling, but in recent weeks there have been events (Robinson today, the RL thing etc) that I believe will bond the players. It was in our most recent moment of dispair (Warford) that the players were galvernised and maybe being written off is when we will shine. We need to get the recruitment right for sure but having accepted, that if we see what's been started through over the next few years relegation becomes less of an issue for me - owners may feel differently . But I really believe as long we can get through the xmas period still in touch, it's not over. Apologies in advance for yet another NP thread but I think everyone associated with the club needs to stick together

We all despair at the situation we find ourselves in at present. But that's one of the best things about football. It never stays the same for too long. Soon we'll be on the up again i'm sure. In all my years of supporting Leicester city 55 yrs I've never seen so many aspects of the club right, except results on the pitch. The Owners and Nigel can take most if not all the credit for that and deserve our full support. If we where to go down which I still don't think will happen it wouldn't be a disaster as like others I believe we will come back stronger from the experience. Keep the faith relax and enjoy the ride even over the bumps.

I've no idea why but as soon as I heard, '**** off and die', my enthusiasm and faith in the man has completely lifted. When the game ended yesterday, I didnt feel down, frustrated or deflated. I felt completely at ease and confident that we'll survive with NP at the helm. Sorry Nigel and sorry to everyone on here, twitter and the phone in thats read and been pissed off with any of my posts or calls. Last week I thought that he wouldnt be sacked. Now I dont want him to be. COME ON LEICESTER!!
