Let's hope you're right. He's certainly a clinical finisher when he gets the chance but unfortunately, for various reasons, he doesn't get many chances.

And he was up against big, slowish defenders yesterday who were never going to be the fastest to turn and cover as the entire move for the goal showed.

I'll wait to see his effect against faster opposition before being fully convinced but at last I'm encouraged and there's no question he deserves his place.

Megson's job is to make sure our strikers get more of the proper kind of service.

Cos right now they must feel like lost souls in the desert with telling passes being as rare as a chance shower of rain.

im still not convinced to be honest, hes a good finisher and hes on form at the moment so deserves a starting place - however, i still think campbell and hume should be up front. Ill back whoever is on the pitch though and i hope he can continue getting a few goals...
