It's a no for me. Would rather take someone like Didier Drogba in his prime. Maybe on a free. I know this is technically impossible due to the way time / reality works but I still think we should consider it. Need to think outside the box. Get creative.

I don't know what this thread is about as I didn't look at the title but I tell you what, I'm not happy.

I think he was great for us. An exciting player who could incredible things. It's what you pay your ticket price for. Might be a while until we see the likes of him again. I find it sad that he'll get booed if ever returns to the KP but I guess that's football.

I remember going to One Big Sunday in 2001 on Vicky Park. It was free. Just turned up with a bag of beers and what not. Got very silly and saw Kylie, Coldplay, Faithless and a load more. Haha I know what you mean but at least we got nearly half the money back when we sold Akinbiyi to Palace. Bertrand has done nothing part from a handful of shocking performances and has been paid a massive wage to do so. We'll get nothing back. At least Akinbiyi gave us this one moment of hilarity:

Bertrand was by far a worse signing than the likes of Akinbiyi (who people usually use as a bench mark of bad signings). At least Akinbiyi actually played.

I'm not having a go at people who take it a lot more seriously than me. I used to be like that so I get it. I just commented as it looks as though for a lot of people it means everything.

I'm not old. I've just got a life outside of supporting Leicester. Like I say, I was probably the same as you are now where it was also my 'identity'. At one point was probably the most important thing in my life. Just not now. I've got other stuff going on. Each to their own, I guess.

Couldn't agree more, mate. However, from the age of about 15 - 30 it was my life. Every game I was a nervous wreck, I was furious if things didn't go our way etc. Now, I watch matches and want us to win but it has no effect on me if we don't. Went we were relegated I said 'Ah well' and then made a roast dinner. When we were relegated in 2008 after losing to Stoke I trashed my living room and was in bits. I think you just need a bit of perspective. It's just a load of millionaires kicking a ball about. There's bigger stuff to be upset about.

If we managed to hold on to him I'd be so much more confident about a return to the Prem. Think he'd bag goals.
