  1. I'm actually going to pre apologise now just in case because the link my mates sent me that he's read it off is for the June squad they had. I asked him to send it because all I can see is a provisional 55 man squad that's he's included on. So I apologise because I can only imagine you'd have been as delighted as me because .. should've fact checked the info before sharing.. my bad .. gutted now because I can't see how he doesn't make the cut
  2. Even better is that the player that's taken his place is that Southampton lad so it weakens them
  3. Yea I said pre match just don't lose.. just we were minutes from a win. It did come from playing it about at the back.. passed it about and Abdul played a ridiculous pass across field and out for a throw where the attack started. For me casadei does a job alongside either kdh or wilf, not sure what yunus offers yet.. together they're poor though. Decent result really though ain't it
  4. Is it wrong to be delighted he's not made the Ghana squad for the afcon
  5. Once we've guaranteed promotion I'll be routing for your guys over Leeds and Southampton.. if we've won the league and come May you're promoted by one point, I'll personally be happy that we donated one today 🤣
  6. Probably just the disappointment of a late equaliser and playing about at the back to defend a one goal lead.. Although I agree casadei and yunus together don't work and that's enzos fault.. we are winning 4 out of 5 games. Even if that drops to 3 out of 5 for the remainder of the season it'll be enough for promotion. Doing a great job. Find a way to beat Cardiff and Huddersfield and use the cup as a rest week and we'll be fine
  7. I think you're right. I think Southampton will take over them, and I still feel Leeds have the ability to win 10 on the bounce too.. I'd love Ipswich to hold on though, but I can't see it. But I think Ipswich fans are just enjoying the ride at the minute.
  8. I like your style of play, but I do feel your an injury to Chaplin away from dropping off.. Anytime I've watched you guys everything good goes through him, he's very good moving the ball forward quickly I do hope you hold on though
  9. No daka or wilf and potentially no fatawu either.. not bothered by iheanacho though.. be tougher than we think
  10. Can't fault their celebrations surely? Promoted from league one, amazing position currently, battered by Leeds and start to worry.. losing to top of the table and scrape a point in what's becoming a tight race for them now.. fair play to them The arsenal esque celebration for me was when Leeds beat us.. their fans are embarrassing.. not Ipswich they're just enjoying the run and excitement of potentially getting back in the prem after years out of it.. remember that feeling?
  11. To be fair though, on the whole we are managing through games.. I do agree I gage seeing us hold on for dear life in games we should have buried.. but we've won 19 out of 24 games this season so he's getting us there.. If the players start being more clinical we'll finish games off earlier, we are making the chances just not converting them, and that one isn't on Enzo. We've had 2 seasons where we just missed out on champions league, then 2 poor seasons where we ultimately ended up where we are now through the inability to see games out... we are turning that around, 19 wins show that, just doesn't seem convincing at times that's all. We're doing well.. I just don't want to see a midfield that doesn't have at least one of kdh or wilf in it until we bring better quality in.. apart from the fa cup game.. not interested in that this season
  12. Was a fair result. Felt we should have finished it in the first half and that the red messed up. That being said, we left the door open and although the equaliser was a fluke your persistence paid off. Pre match I just didn't want to lose, post match I'm a little gutted but still reasonably happy with the point. I think ultimately you'll struggle to hold them off but I really hope you do
  13. Agree a little but for perspective.. when Leeds won the league by beating Ipswich 4-0 people forgot that their form is 1 win in 4. We've drawn with Ipswich, but won the other 3 therefore widening the gap by 7 more points on them. So you can't really compare results against one team.. plus they were at home at lunch time in front of over 30k of their own fans .. we were away against the best home form team in the league late game on boxing (possibly carrying a little extra Christmas pudding 🤣) in front of only a couple thousand of our own fans. Pre match its a decent result, just disappointing as the way we played and the how they scored. Win the next 2 hopefully and then give the first 11 a rest in the cup for me.
  14. Have to agree.. I think the three that went up are weaker even after strengthening, than the three that came down before we've all strengthened. I still think Leeds find a way to get second.. and I reckon Southampton will manage their way through the play offs.. or the other way round. If that's the case, with us taking first.. I think the relegation battle next season will be epic. Not being arrogant as I know there's a huge leap from championship promotion to 17th in the EPL, but with a few signings each it's a gap that can be breached. I think it's a foregone conclusion this season that the 3 that went up will drop, although Luton are giving it a go.. teams like forest are getting a free hit .. but next year will be much tougher
  15. Yea that's true.. been like that a lot this season where we could've gone in 2 or 3 up and been game over.. providing minuted for fringe players Didn't work today, but he usually finds a way though.
  16. That was my frustration and continues to be.. but it doesn't seem to suit enzos philosophy and we're doing well his way so far aren't we... I'll just keep being frustrated and enjoying the wins
  17. Next seasons worry that.. and hopefully with a better standard of player that isn't the case. However, i do share that worry currently .. we give enough chances away in this league in the prem you're right. Look whats happening to Burnley. I just think Enzo has a bit more about him and will do well.
  18. Much prefer not having VAR.. not many games this season where it would've been useful. Pen today would've been given.. the second yellow wouldn't have got involved anyway would they Fats would've been sent off the other week. Other than that not many times it would have been useful to the game VAR causes more problems because the decisions they make aren't clear or obvious. Half the offsides n onsides never look right. I agree.. its a plague
  19. Literally exactly what I thought.. just put I'm the January transfers page we need another 8, after wilf and kdh the options aren't good enough.. have cover everywhere else.. and Iheanacho needs to leave, he just seems to have the wrong attitude on the pitch now
  20. I think today highlights that we definitely need at least one more decent option at number 8, very weak without wilf and kdh.. for me yunus and casadei don't do the job. Not a clue who. Forward wise we are OK, we're scoring plenty of goals from all over the pitch anyway , and combined the number 9s have 15 between them with only one being on the pitch at any given time, decent return. That being said, getting iheanacho out the door would be ideal. Lacklustre play and attitude lately isn't what's needed around the club. Other than that, we're covered until the summer for me
  21. Few terrible passes, but was only beaten by an horrific deflection.. love the guy
  22. Have to agree.. Leeds were the best team we've face on the day.. but however many times they keep saying they're the best team in the league, they're the fourth best.. the league doesn't lie and Ipswich are second. They have the best home form too. For me the wheels are far from falling off, just a few mistakes today with subs and reffing messed us about, alongside a failure to see it out. It's only the 5th time we've failed to win all season so it's not like we do it continuously.. although we do run it close a lot 🤣
  23. Glad I'm not on my own. Last ditch defending wise faes and vesty were better.. but vesty along with mads continually gave the ball away. Coady was reasonably solid. I just worry his inclusion makes loses the cohesion in defence which forces some of the hospital balls from the others maybe? But individually he didn't put a foot wrong for me
  24. Play the under 18s. It ain't important this season
