Savage hasn't too shabby a record as a manager and theyve had a while to work with him and look for a bounce. That being said, I fancy a comfortable win. The team will be very different to the other night for a start. 3-0 or 4-0.. yes a clean sheet.

Two big ifs... if the salary isnt ridiculous and if he can stay fit, then this is a very good signing for league one. Just dont want to be paying 10k a week plus for someone who will be using up medical resources at even more of a cost. Playing wise, he'd be right up there amongst the best in the division once he gets his fitness up and some playing time. Hoping it doesn't mean taking away some playing time from the youth though

100m transfer fee received 🤥

Yea I agree. Be funny though if they did end up relegated but still managed to win the CL this season anyway. Would be nice if there is genuine grounds to sue them though to save our own club .. time will tell

Pathetic

These a shite and down to ten. Cant beat these shouldn't get paid, ridiculous

Hahahaha fs this is embarrassing.. lose 2-1

Scores today

Genuinely glad the managers bitten the bullet and started Faes. Not a fan but he is currently the best CB we have. Shouldve cashed in on Souttar Assuming Joseph is injured.

0-3 Riis to bag again Wont suddenly have found our defensive ability, I just think Barnsley will be just like MK Dons and offer nothing

But you did reply 🤣🤣🤣🤣 And I didnt moan. I was asking if what id read about us trying our best to throw it away sounded about right Keep trying kid

Didnt bother today. Quick read up looks like we tried out best to throw it away but took the win. Sound about right?

Exactly that. Whose going to have an opinion and raise it at this club. Its a dressing room that suits a one dimensional manager. Over 50% are kids that will do as they're told, the rest is made up of older players that havent played at all for us and just happy to get a run out and new players that have come in for a final pay cheque or on loan so don't really give a shit or dont feel theyve been around long enough to speak up. The only one thats been here a while and played is Luke Thomas, and let's be honest, he ain't the best so youre not going to listen to him are you.. besides hes grown up with this style of football from manager to manager anyway. The only way the mould would've been broken was when we bought in Cooper after Enzo. If he'd have just gone direct like he shouldve we could've killed this style off... although Brussel is probably the slowest and worst version of this style.. its all we've done for years.. another mistake by the club because its what Top wants us to do We won the league without the ball playing direct. Excluding winning the FA Cup. Our best time under Rodgers was not far off this style, but a lot faster and sharper in attack . I just dont understand why the club want this passive turgid football it makes no sense at all But yea, my point is, I agree.. noone will stand up in the dressing room because I genuinely dont think any of them will see it as their place to do so.

Be honest, would anyone even want us for nothing, let alone buying us. We're a club that struggles to balance its books in the Premier league anyway and wont be able to compete. The only way we'd compete is someone who has a ridiculous amount of contacts to sponsor the living sh1t out of everything. A lot of work that. Then the other way is a stadium expansion, money to spend. We are in league one struggling, no parachute payments, no big premier league money. Even if we were to go back to back promotions, which we won't, you're going to be losing around 20-30m a year running the club to then be a yoyo club.. you're better off just buying a smaller league one club for 20m and building it up. We have a decent sized local fan base and because of the 2010s, an interest overseas.. but thats all we have to offer. So even if all debts are covered by KP say.. even if you got us on a free you're losing the best part of 50million without investing in the squad. So unless someone with astronomical money wants to buy us for a laugh and dont care about what they spend then we ain't attracting anyone are we

Absolutely, I cannot stand the guy .. but everything about his game is better than what we are using at present. Obviously Ohora and Kanga are unknown, but I dont think we can chuck them both straight in. Faes is positionally crap at times, passing can be loose etc but its still better than the 2 in there atm. Plus he's more aggressive too. He'll also have a point to prove to stick the V up to us fans. I for one would be more than happy for him to do that if he was to come in and sort us out until January anyway

Id play him personally.. pains me to say it but he's our best cb and better with the ball at his feet than the others are Souttar has been fvcking useless.. we will regret not taking 6-8m for him if thats what the offer was Thomas has been ok there until Oxford but hes not great Kanga im excited to see but its a bit risky atm as hes unknown Ohora apparently is a vocal leader but is from the Scottish league so cant judge his ability until seen him play.. Saturday hopefully, alongside Wout So yea, id rather see a pr1ck who in any othet time I wouldnt want to see in Blue again, lead our line on Saturday because he is our best option

Gone there for his inbetweener mates ain't he.... oh burn er ley, is wonderful

Bloody Burnley

Also worrying that he's also our biggest attacking threat too .. this style doesn't create space for the front men.. its design to slowly try and pin back their defence and then we can shoot from 20 yards.. its stupid. We need to be quicker and sharper... one thing we have shown is at times our link up in attack can rip teams apart.. its league one as well.. just be more direct. Yesterday was an absolute embarrassment

Cant see anything positive coming from this game. Im hoping Lundstrum is fit and ready to bring some physicality into midfield. Id drop Souttar, been useless, and I'll get panned for saying this, but Id play Faes. Not a fan, dont like him, but hes still here and he is our best cb at the moment .. we have to do something drastic Mccarthy JJ Faes Ohora McFarlane/Thomas Lundstrum Page Braybrooke Alves Howell Riis Wouldn't be against Doyle starting either as he looks capable of carrying the ball, just not sure in place of who

Im fuming, absolutely devastated what theyve done to he club But just focus on the club. People have lives, theyre allowed to take photos and have a laugh, if all anyone thought about was the football club we'd all need counselling, good on them for finding a way to enjoy themselves. Cant start nitpicking with one another about how we all react. Personally, I march off and want to get as far away from the ground as possible after games like that and Im miserable as fk for a little while after, then I do something else.. but if someone walks out laughing etc, good on them .. take it out on the club not the people paying to go 👍

Diabolical all over the pitch, but the defense was none existent I think the 2 minutes before half time midweek gave myself a false pretence that we were solid enough to bounce back. Doesnt matter if its Martin or a new manager. This is the style the club are running with but these defenders cant play it.. as much as it pains me to say it, Id start Wout in the next game.

Always coming to keep it physical and bully us. Looking forward to when Lundstrum is fit to play . Pretty poor

Bit disappointed to see Kanga not included but maybe he just isnt quite ready for EFL football yet. Happy to see Riis start up top.. Bobby will do a job in the ten I hope.. 30 yard screamer.. cant score from 6 yards but he aint bad for 30 🤣

2-0 win. They'll turn up to try and bully us like last season. Deal with that then we'll win.
