If we played the same shape but changed the system to being more direct.. there would be very little risk for a much higher reward. We are allowing teams to come on to us and sort their shape out and absorb our space.. literally no reward in the system ATM.. we are dropping points and the points we are getting we are limping towards

He offers more than Casadei in 2023 .. anyone can see that. I'd much rather see him on than casadei. Not saying he's great, but in a comparison to cesare, he's the messiah

We've got possibly one of the best 3 attacks in the league.. and some of the most creative wingers and midfielders.. But this system is stifling all of that.. its far too slow.. means the midfield don't have enough time on the ball and the forwards have zero space to play with This system can still be played but more directly.. having 70pc possession with the majority with our defenders is not working.. move it forward quicker .. it really is simple fix.. I just hope its not arrogance that's blocking it

Exactly.. that's my only worry with maresca.. one formation.. square peg round hole at times Yes, keep the system but if you've been probing for an hour and getting nowhere, do something else. Just changing players rarely helps. Yes for 5 mins kdh and ndidi looked like they were going to change the game.. but after the energy burst wore off it was just more of the same.. shape needs to change .. make them change shape and find new spaces.

Maybe it's we haven't worked out how to play against the system teams are putting out against us.. or rather, we are being too arrogant in our one dimensional system I like Enzo, I believe in the system.. but I do believe when you get to 60mins of it isn't working change the shape, not just the player.

Really hope Enzo has the guts to come out and say we were awful and it needs to change.. its the same each week for the last 6 or 7 games win lose or draw and the same interviews... starting to get a bit rodgersesque I like Enzo and still think he's the man, but I want to see some grit.. come out and call the team out post match.. that was terrible.. against the bottom of the league
