Didn't realise until I was just looking on the bbc, out of the top 15 scorers in the league, Vardys got the 2nd best goals per minute in the league, ain't bad at 100 years old. Yea he isn't premier league standard anymore, but he's doing a job in the championship.. considering he's missed a couple of sitters this season too. Hopefully he will have one of his goal bursts now

Weren't we the highest scoring team to be relegated from the Premier league at the time? Agree, I felt we should've stayed up that year but we just couldn't hold a lead.. we could've scored 10 In some games and still lost

Start Vards, had a fortnight off so should be fresh. Be nice to see us fly out the traps grab a couple of early goals and be in a position to give Cannon a good 30 mins. They had a decent result last time out, but could do with a couple of convincing wins, so 3-0 in this one and then 2-0 away to Birmingham would be nice.

I don't think we've been creative enough generating clear cut chances. However, that being said, we're creating a lot of half chances and the two forwards we are playing are not converting then and/or getting in to the right areas Vardy has lost a couple of yards pace and sharpness and isn't getting into the right spaces. Against Leeds, twice Stephy put the ball across Meslier and Vardy had stopped his run.. you'd expect him to get on at least one Iheanacho, for me just looks disinterested and isn't offering anything. From the limited knowledge I have of Cannon, he doesn't seem to me to be the poacher type the team needs.. but does seem to offer decent link up that could help bring the 8s in on goal maybe. Didn't think I'd say it though, maybe it's time to give Daka one final chance to start a game after the break and see if he can get I the areas Vardys legs no longer can, at least until Cannon is fit enough to start.. can't see what we have to lose myself

Personally I think a number 10 is what we are missing.. yes we play with 8s, but there is no reason a 10 can't be used in the system. I agree the strikers have been lacklustre but they're getting a half chance once a 90.. we need someone to put it on a plate for them which at the minute we haven't. Kdh figures look decent this season, but he's broken down more attacks this season through making the wrong decision, delaying a pass etc .. need someone whose just going to look for the 9 everytime.. give the defenders something to think about which will in turn create more space for the wingers too

Have to agree with a lot of this.. when I saw Ricardo in the 8 and hamza at right back I worried. Yes hamza is not seen as creative but he is a midfielder... and riccy is a defender.. just seemed to me that in order to fill Wilfs spot we ended up changing a few and it never works. Looking forward to having Wilf back as we're too lightweight and he's been quite creative this season. We just seem to either want to pass it in to the net or indecisive and making the wrong choices... kdh particularly for me I don't feel we create enough chances myself to slander the front line, but they have been poor with the scraps they are getting. Vards and kelechi are struggling, cannons back from a long lay off and daka is well... daka.. so I can't see an improvement any time soon. I'd be tempted to start mcateer up top, at least he moves about
