  1. Not a running injury as such but maybe you guys can help.

Whenever I play football now my hip is sore afterwards, I've had a persistent popping when extending my left leg for years but it's metastasised into pain now. From research online I need to strengthen my hamstrings and improve hip mobility generally.

Anybody had anything similar and overcome it?

Crazy that we had Mahrez and Vardy together for another two seasons and only had 12th and 9th and a 3 QF to show for it.

    What a waste.

This is why I can't stand Puel revisionism.

Vardy, Mahrez, Ndidi and Schmeichel in their primes and we could muster up 9th in a weak league where Burnley finished 7th. He tried to phase out Vardy ff!

I don't see man city as being stable i think its precisely the time to stay away from that club 🤔... there is something coming man city's way and its been a long time coming too

They will reach a settlement with the league - there might be hefty deduction but they're certainly not getting relegated. It's a bump in the road but with the exception of maybe Arsenal, the rest of the big clubs are all in a state of flux too. It's unlikely Haaland, Semenyo, Rodri jump ship when they can ride out a fallow year on huge wages they're unlikely to get elsewhere.

Barca are still in the mire financially and Real are a basket case. If you had to pick a time to get a deduction as Man City - it's probably around about now.

  4. For the first time Maresca will have the reins at a well ran club. He's been successful so far at shitshows so with a steady environment where he already knows 80% of the squad should see him flourish.

He's only managed what, 2 full seasons too?

Needs to be looked at, shame he lost momentum due to injuries.

Everyone needs to be given a chance, just hope we can offload the likes of Vestergaard, Faes and Okoli.

Another one that had a loan in Scotland and barely/didn’t play(ed).

Competent clubs would review this and stop sending players 6 hours away.

Arguably Jordan James also has a big decision to make too, and Mads at times was a calamity for West Ham earlier in the season so im not convinced you can compare both exactly the same way. Jordan issue is his fitness - can he stay healthy enough to have a bigger impact at a higher level?

I was making the point that relegations don’t measure a player’s ability. West Ham have been shoddily ran and it’s caught up with them

He's below average at this level. 2 relegations at 2 clubs in 2 years.  The part of his game he excels at doesnt work for those at the bottom of the table, and he not going to Man City or Arsenal.

He's got a big decision to make at the end of this season for sure.

Jordan James has been relegated for two different teams in the Championship, it’s not an indictment on his ability

    Rudanomics.

Worse things about this is we had a decent crop of youngsters and all we need to do it put the right players and manager around them.

We could have bloodied Nelson, Braybrooke, Alves et al in the PL and save ourselves splashing 27m and probably the best part of 250k a week on Ayew, BCDR and Skipp and Okoli.

Just we would have gone down maybe with less points but they would have been ready for the championship but also saved us around 40m.

Like I’ve said before, we’ve lost plenty of games over the past 3 seasons. Countless opportunities to give players 30 minutes when the game has already been lost

Watching Leeds this afternoon reminded me that these ****s in the depths of PSR issues placed a £35m bid for Jack ****ing Harrison.

That extra money would’ve ****ed us further!

Tried to sign a crocked Sensi too, started 2 games since.

Deadlines and incompetence have saved us from further disaster

A client of mine tried to turn shops on pocklingtons walk to residential. It was rejected despite their being 140+ empty retail units in the city centre.

The planning dept are completely obtuse in my experience. They don’t seem to want permit much at all.

They classify higher than 9 storeys as tall!
