It's difficult to draw any definitive conclusions when the data supplied by most countries has been so poor (with/because of, etc), especially for a laymen like myself. I just read opinions and data from both sides. For instance I read this report on vaccine safety and the rebuttal which was interesting... https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Martin-Neil-2/publication/356756711_Latest_statistics_on_England_mortality_data_suggest_systematic_mis-categorisation_of_vaccine_status_and_uncertain_effectiveness_of_Covid-19_vaccination/links/61aa3d6750e22929cd4348cb/Latest-statistics-on-England-mortality-data-suggest-systematic-mis-categorisation-of-vaccine-status-and-uncertain-effectiveness-of-Covid-19-vaccination.pdf?origin=publication_detail https://www.covid-datascience.com/post/assessing-updated-uk-ons-data-on-covid-19-non-covid-19-deaths-split-by-vaccination-status-and-age

Bit of a mess, ignoring the bottom left because it's likely that may be poor recording, there doesn't seem to be a very strong correlation between total vacinations and total covid deaths, there's obviously a slight grouping in the top left.

Dunno, there's a difference between people questioning scientists that may or may not skew their data to fit the narrative of whoever is funding them and a family that knowingly risks spreading an infection to someone thats vulnerable?

What I love most about that image, is underneath it on the Sanford Health twitter page someone has commented... "Source?"

The dose they sent was laughably low and wouldn't increase serum vitamin D up to a level that would be effective, but I understand the issues that have been raised here about them being unable to offer it in high enough doses under a one-size-fits all regime across the population. I think it could have been worth looking in to though, even if they offered everyone a blood test to check their vitamin D levels at the very outset, particularly the old and vulnerable. After all we've managed to spend billions on tests, lockdowns and PPE, they could have found some for nationwide vitamin D testing and HIGH DOSE supplementaton? An interesting article if anyone is interested that shows a spike in the non covid mortality amongst the unvaccinated, correlating with the roll out of the vaccines amongst the 40-49 year old demographic. https://metatron.substack.com/p/going-deeper-on-the-ons-data-deaths

Yes but to even ask the question is outrageous stereotyping. Taking one small group of absolute imbeciles actions and extrapolating it out to 5 million people is dangerous.

Are all black youths thugs that carry knives?

If you don't call the preponderance of evidence that vitamin D is very effective against respiratory Infections, and reasonably strong evidence that it's effective against covid, then I don't know what else to say.
-
There have been many studies, lots on respiratory viruses prior to covid, like this meta analysis in 2016 https://www.bmj.com/content/356/bmj.i6583 Fair enough to not recommend it at the very start of the pandemic, but to STILL largely ignore it in the light of things like this? https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8541492/ https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34684596/ Also interesting to note that Dr Fauci takes 6000UI a day, far far above the dosage recommended, so the concern about high doses is questionable. We have pathways to dispose of vitamin D, even though it's fat soluble, it's nowhere near as toxic as vitamin A is. Why is Fauci taking doses that high but there is no official guidance from government for people to take it? Taking 60,000 international units (IU) a day of vitamin D for several months has been shown to cause toxicity. This level is many times higher than the U.S. Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for most adults of 600UI of vitamin D a day. Fauci is taking 10X more than the RDA.

Yes, you're absolutely right, I usually make a point of looking in to sources first hand to confirm for myself that they're accurate, to make sure I don't look like an idiot. In this case, I've looked in to it more and it turns out she was specifically talking about vaccinated people. I have heard numbers quoted that are even higher than that for the total population, but I definitely withdraw my original point in the context of this video!

Apologies for the wording. I can point you to a quite a few large studies though, I'll gather them together. But more importantly than that... Don't you find it even a tiny bit strange that for a tablet (D3) that costs pennies, literally pennies, and has no side effects even at high doses, barely any public health authority strongly suggested that the whole population start taking vitamin D as soon as the pandemic started?
-
Yeah I understand the sentiment, but it's interesting to see the narrative slowly shifting away from PANIC PANIC PANIC. There's no way you would have heard the head of the CDC openly talking about over 75% of covid deaths having AT LEAST 4 comorbidities, just a few months ago. comorbidities.mp4

It's a lot more than just going to the gym though. Consider that 70% of your immunity comes from your gut - eating specifically to support that and taking pro and prebiotics makes sense right? There's very strong evidence that high serum vitamin D levels can reduce risk of serious illness from covid and respiratory diseases down to an almost negligible level. Even something as simple as nasal irrigation and gargling with salt water or chlorohexidine when ill can help reduce viral replication. Not to mention the evidence that Ivermectin may be effective in the early stages of the disease. (These are not recommendations instead of the vaccine if you want it, but as supplemental) I don't agree with treatment nihilism we have - stay at home until you're so unwell that you need to be hospitalised, there's nothing else that can be done. It's bizarre.

On the contrary, I do like to hear it, because i'm constantly evaluating my decision believe it or not. I don't like to ask specific questions to people who are witnessing it first hand because it could be taken as I'm trying to prove a point rather than genuine interest.

Indeed, but very soon those who have only had three shots will have the same risk of suffering symptoms as the great unwashed, then it's the fourth, and soon after that you will be back down to our level. Here's a controversial idea, why doesn't everyone get their BMI down to circa 22, walk more, take high doses of vitamin D3 with K2, eat at least moderately well, lift weights even at a low level, drink less than the recommended units of alcohol per week and not smoke. Mind blowing.

anti-vax is a derogatory slur, he's stated that he's had every vaccine required to work until this one. the rest of the attack article (I question the necessity to write a personal attack piece, rather than focus on his claims) implies that focussing on a patient's health prior to them ending up in a clinical setting, is somehow wrong? I also note that breathlessness isn't something particularly pseudo-scientific? https://www.cuh.nhs.uk/our-services/breathlessness-intervention-service/

Let's not pretend that this (at least since the Wuhan strain) was dangerous enough to force injections on young, healthy people which could mean they wouldn't see their children grow up. If it was genuinely an innoculation in the traditional sense, then there would be a consideration, but in the current situation where vaccinated people are getting it in higher numbers according to raw data, nope. If that data is anywhere near accurate, then all you're doing by injecting young people is effectively borrowing health from the young to protect the old. Also @Dunge, would you classify this is deliberate misrepresentation, classic propaganda or just plain incompetence?
-
Yes, the message being that making fellow human beings choose between potential destitution and injecting something in to their body which could potentially cause serious side effects or death, for very, very minimal upside is immoral, coercive and should be illegal. Let's not pretend we haven't been subjected to relentless propaganda from the covid orthodoxy for the last 2 years.

ooph, next you'll be telling me to get the vaccine, it's only a little pr*ck? who let bernard manning in here?
-
Gone back in the cupboard mate, you've effectively ruined my day!

I'll leave my kids to deal with that one, 30°c summer days and deep, snowy winters in the UK sounds perfect! (joke).

long story short, can I crack open my special edition Captain Wes Morgan rum yet?
-
I'm not sure I agree with that, I think the percentage of genuine conspiracy theorist "refuseniks" who don't believe in covid or don't care if they get it are pretty low. There's 5 million+ and I would guess that the vast majority are just normal people who are worried about the vaccine, put it off or just assume they're healthy so there's not much point. I don't know many unvaccinated people to be honest, but we're all pretty normal people and have all tested if we thought we had it.

But why would one increase more than the other in every age group?
